If you were to ask me what is the best Italian restaurant in San Antonio, I would hands down say Paesano’s!
Paesano’s has three locations in San Antonio. If you are looking for a “let’s go out on the town” vibe then I would suggest the downtown location. If you are looking for more of the classic date night or girls night on the patio, then I would say the 1604 or Quarry location. Either way, you will not be disappointment. My go to meal at Paesano’s is the Shrimp Paesano paired with a Pinto Grigio.
Shrimp Paesano: 5 jumbo shrimp lightly dusted in flour, pan sautéed and baked, served with spaghetti with butter garlic sauce.
Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio ~ Alto Adige, Italy Crisp and refreshing with aromas and flavors of pear and almond with a touch of minerality on the finish.
Not only is the food and refreshments very enjoyable but the service is outstanding. I have never had a bad experience here and I will be returning in the future!
