My Go-To Souvenir and Travel Inspiration Board

Growing up, when I traveled to different places, I always wanted something from that place - a souvenir. It was either a t-shirt, a keychain, or whatever I was into at the time. The older I got, I started realizing that I won't always be able to wear that t-shirt and I will probably get tired of the keychain. I then started collecting postcards, and that's where it all began for me.

Since my trip to Ireland, back in 2010, postcards have been my go-to souvenir. They are easy to pack and not to mention very inexpensive. I normally grab two or three for each place I go to. Every State and National Park or Forest, Airports, Cities, etc. I then started collecting park maps and saving my airplane tickets. Earlier this year I was cleaning out my storage room and noticed all the things I had saved over the years and realized I never did anything with them. I went straight to Hobby Lobby that day.

I bought a cork board of the U.S. and four smaller square cork boards to go around it. I decided to create a travel inspiration board. I pinpointed all the states I have visited and from there my creativity just took over to create the ultimate travel inspiration board. This board is on my living room wall and is a constant reminder to live the fullest life we are given. I am continually adding to it, and one day I hope to look back and be so blessed by all the adventures I had.

What keeps you inspired?
