This by far will be the longest trip I have done. June 22nd, I hit the rode with my Harley to California. Totaling 1,370 miles there and roughly 20 hours without stops. The goal is to make it to Tucson, Arizona in one day, which is our halfway point, and then the next day make the final stretch to Los Angeles, California. I have been planning this trip with friends for a while, and I am beyond excited about this incredible experience.
I usually plan out all my trips with an itinerary, however this trip will be somewhat free spirited. There is so much to do and see, so I do have a list of places I'd like to visit, but for the most part, I will be going with the flow. Here's a quick glance at the trip plan so far!
What I'm Packing
Jeans & T's
For the days I'm on the road, I have to stay protected and cool, so the plan is to wear long sleeve shirts to protect me from the sun and blue jeans with my riding shoes. I recently bought the cutest pair of overalls, so I am definitely packing those bad boys with me. For the most part of the trip I will be on my bike, so jeans and my favorite T's will be the vibe.
GoPro
I want to capture all aspects of this trip, so I will have my GoPro with me.
Bike Gear
I just purchased my second set of riding stealth gloves from FastHouse, and they are super comfortable to ride in. I also have my Sena Spider ST1 Bluetooth headset for my helmet. Send me your favorite playlists, I have a lot of road time ahead of me.
I plan to post a packing update on my Instagram story that will go into more detail!
I will also be posting trip updates soon, and you can follow along on my Instagram @Throttle_blogger
If you have any recommendations of places to see and eat at, throw them my way. I am super excited about this amazing experience and I can't wait to share it with everyone!
