Travel Bucket List for 2024

Travel Bucket List for 2024

Each year, I eagerly anticipate the chance to map out a list of the most enchanting destinations that I dream of visiting. I strive to turn my travel aspirations into concrete experiences, and this year is no different. I have planned some incredible adventures, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share them with you all.

Montana

Colorado

My first travel destination for this year is Colorado! I haven't been to this state before, so I am excited about this upcoming trip. I plan to fly into Denver and drive to Breckenridge, where I will be staying. If the weather permits, I will also explore Vail and its beautiful European-style villages.

I have created a travel itinerary and shared it below.

As some of you may be aware, February in Colorado can be extremely cold, with a high temperature of only 28 degrees. It is essential to dress warmly during this time and finding the appropriate gear and brands can be challenging if you are unaware of where to look.

If you are planning a winter vacation and need the right gear, I have shared a list of my favorite winter essentials and gear for you to consider.

Next stop, Edisto Island!

Edisto Island has been a family tradition for many years, and I am beyond excited to visit again after 10 years.

Edisto Island is a small, southern beach town located on the east coast of South Carolina. Despite its small size, the island has a lot to offer. While you're there, you can play a round of golf at The Plantation Course at Edisto or check out the Wyndham Pickleball Courts. The island is also renowned for its beautiful beaches and is known for having some of the largest shark teeth on the east coast.

Not to mention, you are only an hour from Charleston which makes for a perfect day trip!

If you're looking for adventure and stunning sunsets, visit Botany Bay Plantation Heritage Preserve. Don't forget to stop at Kings Farm Market for some delicious key lime pie before heading to the island!

Edisto also offers Bike & Golf Cart Rentals. An easy way to explore the island without using a car.

Take a Solo Trip

When I first started traveling, I used to travel solo. Initially, I was afraid of going on a trip alone, but with time, I got used to it, and now it's one of my favorite ways to travel. I like to explore at my own pace and see everything that I want to see. I am an individual who goes with the flow, and I don't always need everything to be planned out in advance.

If you have ever considered traveling solo, I highly recommend it. It is not only an amazing experience, but also liberating.

Traveling solo as a woman can be risky, so always be aware of your surroundings. It's important to let someone know your whereabouts, whether it's a family member or friend. However, don't let fear stop you from traveling solo and exploring new places.

Camping Trip

This year I would like to go camping at least once since I missed out in 2023 due to planning a wedding. I have a few destinations in mind and I am ready to make reservations.

Take a look at these camping essentials that have helped my camping experience!

As a child, I spent many summers camping with my family, and as I grew older, I continued to seek out opportunities to explore the great outdoors. There's just something magical about being surrounded by nature and disconnecting from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Camping has become one of my cherished escapes, allowing me to recharge and appreciate the simple pleasures of life.

Here are some camping spots that I would recommend.

Pisgah National Park, North Carolina

Lincoln National Park, New Mexico

Great Smokey Mountains, Tennessee

Big Bend National Park, Texas

Pedernales Falls State Park, Texas

Olympic National Park, Washington

Girls Trip!

There is no better way to recharge your battery and grow closer to your girls than a girls trip!

This summer, I am planning a girls' trip within the United States, although I haven't decided on a specific destination yet. However, I will share my plan soon. I have decided to start a tradition with my girlfriends of taking an annual girls' trip. Last summer, I had my bachelorette party at the beach with all my ladies, and it was one of the most adventurous trips with incredible memories.

Here are some of my favorite spots to take a girls trip!

Charleston, South Carolina

Seattle, Washington

Port Aransas, Texas

Fredericksburg, Texas

United Kingdom

This is a big dream of mine!

The last big adventure of the year is to travel to the United Kingdom. In September, my husband and I will fly to London and spend 9 days traveling through England, Wales, and Scotland. This is a dream come true for me and I have planned this trip for months. There is much preparation to be done and planning since the UK is very different than traveling in the US.

I will be sharing updates throughout the year about my trip to the UK and would appreciate any advice from fellow travelers. A trip itinerary will be posted soon.
